Dr. Susun Kim

Dr. Susun Kim is a Board Certified Dermatologist and Certified Allergan Specialist. She believes healthy skin is a glow from within. Her philosophy centers around treating the whole patient, and not just the disease process. Every decision, treatment plan and recommendation is tailor made with each patient’s best interests in mind. The focus on patients and their overall well-being cultivates a supportive, friendly environment where patients feel comfortable and confident with the care they receive.

Dr. Kim received her bachelors degree from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and completed her medical training at Pikeville College School of Osteopathic Medicine in Eastern Kentucky. Traditional internship and Dermatology Residency at Valley Hospital Medical Center brought her to Las Vegas where she currently resides with her family. During her residency, Dr. Kim served as Chief Resident, and was the recipient of several awards for outstanding lecture presentations and recognition of her leadership ability.

Always valuing the importance of education, Dr. Kim is an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Dermatology at Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine in Las Vegas and serves as a mentor and preceptor for medical students. She also serves on the editorial advisory board for the Journal of Clinical and Aesthetic Dermatology, and has authored numerous articles in both national and international dermatology publications.

Dr. Kim not only promotes good health to her patients but she also personally strives to maintain a healthy body and mind by living an active lifestyle while not depriving herself of delicious meals.  A “foodie” at heart, she enjoys seeking out culinary adventures during her travels.
